Return Policy

Returns are available with 14 days of delivery date of a purchase.  This means you must start the return process within the 14 days. We do not have to receive the item within 14 days.  Items must be unopened, in the original packaging, unworn, and in the same condition in which you received them as appropriate to the item.  Refunds are given using the original payment method. Electronic payment methods are subject to a %6 fee due to the card processing fees associated with processing your order.  You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Before returning an item please email us at contact@builttoscaleonline.com.

If an item is received damaged or with missing parts please contact us at contact@builttoscaleonline.com for additional options such as an exchange.  If an exchange is not possible due to the same item not being available, such as a discontinued product,  customers have the option of exchanging for another product or a refund. If a refund is issued for arriving damaged or with missing parts there is no fee due to card processing.  We will be responsible for return shipping for damaged items.

To complete your return or exchange we require proof of purchase.  If the item was shipped to you this must be in the form of the packing slip.  The packing slip must be returned with the item, and will be returned to the customer.  When we receive the returned item(s) we will perform an inspection. If the return/exchange is approved we will take the appropriate action as outlined in this policy such as refund or exchange.  If the return/exchange is denied due to not meeting the requirements for the return/exchange the customer is responsible for the shipping cost to have the item returned to them. We highly recommend that return procedures are followed to ensure fast and successful processing.  

Abuse of the return policy will result in denial of service at our discretion.
